Lepiota erminea

The majority of Lepiota's have concentric scales or patches( Parasol) covering the cap but there are some that are pure white without any cap markings, as in Lepiota erminea. Choice characteristics for ID are white cap, sometimes with a brown umbo ,free gills, apex of stem smooth, below cottony to woolly entire length, dextrinoid spores. To the best of my knowledge this is the first documented finding of Lepiota erminea in Alberta.
